I made a small collection of the little gems of Indian English...
Let's start with my all-time favorite, Macaroni!

Of course you might want some salt - it's Free Flowing even in Rainy Season!

And, in case you are not convinced, the container is so handy and so modern:

"Possible" is one of the most used words in India. But unfortunately, it only means that there might be a remote possibility of the thing you've requested actually happening. In contrast to "No, no possible!". That's why I love this board:

This sign (on the back of each bus, riksha, or other) is the reason why my ears are still rustling - who knew that one honking sound could have so many meanings?

Let's go on with water bottles:
The happiest water around:

The most powerful one:

I'm not completely sure this was actually water:

This water is untouched by hand, and from God's own country!

And finally, this water is only funny for Germans:

(FYI, "mist" means "(bull)shit" in German)
Of course, there are some wonderful menus, too.
Here you can buy dirt cheap drugs:

This restaurant had very active, belligerent potatoes:

And this one was very cruel to eggs. Maybe it was because of the Sand-witches:

They also had lots of chesse, if you see what I mean.

These ones stopped their coffee supply for some reason. But at least they still have deserts!

I've always known cornflakes are good for concentration - especially with the Iron Shakti Plus.

This is also what these cookies are trying to tell us:

But then we found the most adequate biscuit to take on a two day houseboat trip:

We couldn't solve the crosswords, though:

Ok, enough food. How about this hotel?

It seems to be nice, though:

And at least they tell you that Swimming is dangerous without special training (two special laughs for Germans also):

And they are fascinated by what? Yes! Of course! The German Autobahn!!

And finally, would you panic if you saw this guy on the street? Nooo, of course not! It's Muni!

I must say that during all my stay in India, I never noticed so many gems :) The best one was "offered coffe"! I could read the crossword :)
Hope things are well at your end. I am trying to find a house in Genova !
~jg: I didn't hear any screaming ;)
~raj: ... even though your 'stay' in India was kind of more extended than mine ;)
Was it really a crossword, by the way?
Good luck on your search!
;) yeah I forgot to mention that my stay was few tens of years..
yes it's a crossword, in hindi. they are quite popular and almost all the daily newspapers have them (in most of the languages)
i found a house by the way, have to shift during the weekend..
I wondered if it really was a crossword because there was already something written in every box!
Good luck moving your stuff!
That one is the solution to the old one. On top its say in Hindi 'Hal' wich means solution to the cross word with a number on top
